Das System ist PC-basiert und wird nicht von Mac unterstützt – Sie erhalten das Dimsport Genius, ein eigenständiges Gerät für die serielle Kommunikation mit dem Motorsteuergerät (ECU) über die OBDII-Buchse des Fahrzeugs oder über spezielle Diagnosestecker, die bei Bedarf für Ihr Modell mitgeliefert werden. Sie können es an Ihr Motorrad anschließen; auf dem Gerät ist bereits die gesamte erforderliche Software vorinstalliert, um Ihre Anwendung zu unterstützen – mit anderen Worten: es handelt sich um die richtige Software für Ihr Motorrad/Modell/Baujahr.

So funktioniert es:
Sie müssen das Gerät an Ihr Motorrad anschließen, Ihre aktuellen ECU-/Datei-Informationen auslesen und speichern und diese übermitteln – den Link dafür senden wir Ihnen zu.  
Innerhalb von 24–48 Stunden erhalten Sie dann die angeforderte Kennlinie für Ihre Anwendung in einem Dateiformat, das von Ihrem Steuergerät unterstützt wird. Diese müssen Sie über das Handheld-Gerät auf Ihr Motorrad laden – und das war’s schon. –

Eine Anleitung per E-Mail erhalten Sie, sobald wir Ihre Bestellung erhalten haben.
Tuning-Programme sind für die meisten Auspuffkombinationen verfügbar, und wir wählen die für Ihre Anwendung am besten geeignete Kennlinie aus.

 FAQ: Kann ich die Ausgangs-Kennlinie wieder auf das Motorrad laden? -- Ja, die Ausgangs-Kennlinie wird im Handheld gespeichert und Sie können sie bei Bedarf wieder auf das Motorrad laden, ebenso können Sie die modifizierte Kennlinie erneut laden – beide Kennlinien werden im Handheld gespeichert.

Kann ich später eine andere Kennlinie laden, wenn ich meine Auspuffanlage wechsle? -- Ja, aber Sie müssen zunächst erneut die Daten aus dem Steuergerät auslesen, uns die Datei zusenden und wir senden Ihnen das Mapping zu – gegen einen Aufpreis von 250,00 EUR.

Ich besitze bereits ein Handgerät. Kann ich dieses zum Auslesen des Steuergeräts verwenden? -- Nein, diese Geräte sind codiert und gesperrt. Jeder Tuner schreibt seinen eigenen Code, sodass Sie das Gerät nur für die von ihm angebotenen Dienstleistungen nutzen können.

--This is PC based, not Mac supported - You will receive the Dimsport Genius that is the stand alone device for the serial communication with the Engine Control Unit (ECU), through the vehicle OBDII socket or via specific diagnostic connectors that will be supplied if needed for your model, you will be able to connect it to your bike, the unit will have all needed software pre-loaded to support your application in other words, it's the correct software for your bike/model/year.

This is how it works:
You will have to connect the unit to your bike, read & save your current ECU/File  information and submit it , we will send you the link for that.  You will then within 24-48 hours get   back the requested map  for your application in a file form that supports your ECU and you need to load it via the handheld to your bike and that's all there is to it. - Email instructions will be send to you after we have received your order.
Tunes are available for most exhaust combinations and we will choose the best suitable map for your application.

 FAQ: Can I load the base map back to the bike ? -- Yes the base map will be stored in the handheld and you can load it back to the bike if needed and re-load the modified may yet as well, both maps will be stored int he hand held. 
Can I later load another map if I change my exhaust ? -- Yes but you need to read the ECU first again , send us the file and we send you the mapping, at add. cost of $ 250.00
I already have a handheld device, can I use this to read the ECU? --  No they are coded and locked, every tuner does write  his own code so that you can only use the device for their provided services.
