The front fender in carbon for the Ducati Panigale V4 / V4 S from 2018 is delivered with a matt surface and therefore fits perfectly with the original, special matt carbon parts offered by Ducati Performance.

The front fender in carbon replaces the original component using the original fastening points and original screws. As is usual with Ilmberger, the fender is delivered including an internal cable guide for the ABS sensor cable. The special holder for the brake lines is also present on the Ilmberger carbon part - the original lines only need to be hooked in.
The main focus is on weight savings (usually a saving of around 70% compared to the original component) and greater rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured in an autoclave in accordance with the latest guidelines entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material and in the next step, as is our usual practice, covered with a clear plastic coating to protect it against environmental influences.
This plastic coating surpasses the usual clear varnish coating in terms of protection, scratch resistance and durability. But the coating not only scores points technically, it also clearly underlines the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.

The front Mudguard (matt) for the Ducati Panigale V4 / V4 S is delivered in matt surface. In this finish it matches the original matt Ducati Performance Carbon parts perfectly. The part contains all necessary holders for ABS cables and brake lines. The special shape helps reduce front brake caliper temperature during hard braking.

This part is a direct replacement for the original component and contributes mainly to weight saving on the motorcycle (up to 70% less) and a higher stiffness of the parts. Like all of our carbon fiber parts, it was made according to the latest protocols and industry standards and can be considered to encompass all aspects of current 'best of industry' practice. The part is made completely out of pre-preg carbon fiber materials using an autoclave. As with all our carbon parts, we use a clear plastic coating that not only improves the appearance, but also protects the carbon fiber from scratching and has a unique UV resistance.
