The rear wheel cover (original version) in carbon for the Ducati 1299 Panigale is delivered with a matt painted surface and thus fits perfectly into the overall picture of the original Ducati and Ducati Performance parts.
The long rear fender in carbon for the Ducati 1299 Panigale replaces the original component using the original mounting points.

The main focus is on weight savings (usually around 70% less than the original component) and greater rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured in an autoclave in accordance with the latest guidelines, entirely from prepreg (see FAQ) material, and in the next step, as is our usual practice, it was coated with a clear plastic coating to protect it against environmental influences.
This plastic coating surpasses the usual clear varnish coating in terms of protection, scratch resistance and durability. But the coating not only scores points technically, it also clearly underlines the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.

This part is a direct replacement for the original component and contributes mainly to weight saving on the motorcycle (up to 70% less) and a higher stiffness of the parts. Like all of our carbon fiber parts, it was made according to the latest protocols and industry standards and can be considered to encompass all aspects of current 'best of industry' practice. The part is made completely out of pre-preg carbon fiber materials using an autoclave. As with all our carbon parts, we use a clear plastic coating that not only improves the appearance, but also protects the carbon fiber from scratching and has a unique UV resistance.
