The carbon engine spoiler is not only as light as a feather, it also gives the BMW S1000XR a completely new look. It completely replaces the two smaller original covers and extends over the full length. The central main stand of the motorcycle is still retained and can continue to be used. If this is removed in favor of an even sportier look and further weight savings, the version without main stand is recommended. VEU.018.1XR20.K The engine and other critical components are in any case significantly better protected compared to the original, while the sporty look of the motorcycle is further intensified.
Installed in just a few minutes, the value of the motorcycle is increased enormously. To achieve a particularly harmonious overall appearance, the fiber layers are evenly placed and aligned in the mold by experts. This means that the carbon part fits perfectly into the individual environment of the motorcycle. The more of our parts are installed and combined, the more stunning the result.
For our carbon we only use prepreg fabric produced specifically for this purpose, which is also used in a similar form in Formula 1 and aerospace. The material, which is carefully hand-laminated and cured in several stages in an autoclave, not only impresses with its unique appearance but also with its unique technical properties. For the same volume, it has three times the specific stiffness of steel and at the same time, due to its particularly low density, only weighs a fraction of its weight. These properties are particularly pronounced in our case due to the high fiber volume content.
In order to optimally protect this high-quality material from all kinds of environmental influences, we are the only carbon manufacturer in the world to use a specially developed plastic coating on all surfaces. In combination with our clear varnish, this creates a previously unattainable and unique depth effect, which particularly highlights the high quality of the material.
To ensure that not only driving but also tinkering is a pleasure, we only use the original fastening points for this part.
