The shock absorber cover (small version) in carbon for the Ducati 1199 Panigale is delivered with a matt painted surface and thus fits perfectly into the overall picture of the original Ducati and Ducati Performance parts.

The carbon suspension strut cover for the Ducati 1199 Panigale replaces the original component using the original attachment points. The main focus is on weight savings (usually a saving of around 70% compared to the original component) and greater rigidity. The carbon part was manufactured in an autoclave in accordance with the latest guidelines completely from prepreg (see FAQ) material and in the next step, as is our usual practice, covered with a clear plastic coating to protect it against environmental influences.
This plastic coating surpasses the usual clear varnish coating in terms of protection, scratch resistance and durability. But the coating not only scores points technically, it also clearly underlines the three-dimensional effect of the carbon structure.

To ensure that not only driving but also tinkering is a pleasure, we only use the original fastening points for this part.

This part is a direct replacement for the original component and contributes mainly to weight saving on the motorcycle (up to 70% less) and a higher stiffness of the parts. Like all of our carbon fiber parts, it was made according to the latest protocols and industry standards and can be considered to encompass all aspects of current 'best of industry' practice. The part is made completely out of pre-preg carbon fiber materials using an autoclave. As with all our carbon parts, we use a clear plastic coating that not only improves the appearance, but also protects the carbon fiber from scratching and has a unique UV resistance.
So that not only driving but also screwing is a pleasure, we only use the original fastening points for this part.
